Cancellation & refunds

Change your mind? No hard feelings.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

You can cancel a Ripply plan at any time. A first yearly payment can be refunded in full within 7 days. Monthly payments are not refunded, because you can cancel before the next one. Here is how it works.

Cancelling

After you cancel, no further charges are made. You keep the paid features until the end of the month or year you already paid for, then return to Free. Your highlights and notes stay exactly where they are; notes on a paid theme are shown on the default theme.

Refunds

PaymentRefund
First yearly payment (Plus or Pro)Full refund if you ask within 7 days of the payment. The plan ends immediately when the refund is issued.
Yearly renewalsNot refunded. Your bank or UPI app notifies you at least 24 hours before a renewal in India, and Paddle emails you before a yearly renewal, so you can cancel first.
Monthly payments and renewalsNot refunded. Cancel at any time to stop the next charge.
Duplicate or mistaken chargesAlways refunded in full. Tell us and we fix it.
Service unavailable for more than 7 days in a rowRefund of the unused part of your plan, on request.

If you switch from Pro to Plus, the change applies at your next renewal; nothing is refunded for the current period.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Email [email protected] from the address on your Ripply account.
  2. Include the date of the payment and, if you have it, the subscription or receipt ID from the Razorpay or Paddle email.
  3. We reply within 2 working days and issue approved refunds within 3 working days of that.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Razorpay refunds usually show up in 5–7 working days and Paddle refunds in 5–10 working days, depending on your bank. We never ask for your card, UPI or bank details to process a refund.

If something is wrong

If a refund or cancellation hasn't gone through as described here, write to our grievance officer at [email protected] (details in the terms). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
